Dear Subscribers, Attached is Vol. 5, No. 2 question set, which focuses on a second set of Forensic Pathology Questions. This set is excellent, and I think you will find the content very beneficial beyond just the topic of forensic pathology. I want to thank Dr. Elena Bulakhtina, M.D. for her hard work and outstanding quality. As I have less time, I depend more on subscribers to volunteer content. As the new academic year gets underway, please encourage new residents to subscribe to PathMD. As I get feedback from residents taking the Board Exam, I consistently hear that the PathMD content is one of the most effective tools for preparing for the exam. It's also free. PathMD Website Update and Redesign

Dear Subscribers, After a month of going through all of the past webiste material and images, the PathMD website has been refurbished and updated. It went live last night (www.pathmd.com). The transformation is about 90% complete, and I think everyone will find it easier to navigate to images and question sets, which are are linked from the same page!! Just in time as it is about that season to prepare for the board exam. I have also taken a lot of time to fix pages and links that had been broken. Thanks to everyone who e-mailed with information on what was not working. If you find any errors or ideas for improvements, please drop me an e-mail. You may notice that we do not have a sponsor. PathMD Vol. 5, No. 1 Question Set - Forensic Pathology

Dear PathMD Subscribers, Attached is Vol. 5 No. 1 question set cover Forensic Pathology. This is an excellent set of questions authored by Drs. Elena Bulaktina and Jennifer L. Hammers. My personal thanks to them both for their time and efforts in helping to provide such quality content for pathology residents preparing for the board examination. You may have noticed that there is not any content for Volume 4.? I am in the process of updating the website by matching the older content with the current format. This will also hope to correct a couple of pages that are having difficulty being seen for some people on some browsers. Additionally, Volume 4 will be a new format of content. Specifically, this will contain short to medium length flash video content covering high yield pathology topics in a practical and up to date manner. The first video will be on odontogenic lesions (2 parts). Long term this will have a lot of interesting case studies, which will emphasize and reinforce core high-yield content. My plan is for the video content to supplement the question content, and residents can focus in on areas in which they have an interest or need more help. Again my thanks to Drs. Hammers and Bulaktina for there efforts!! If anyone else is interested in providing content for the education of your peers, don't hesitate to contact me. For all of us, we are where we are because individuals have taken time to share their knowledge. Now you have the opportunity to give back. Dear PathMD subscribers: Attached is Volume 3, Number 4 and Volume 3, Number 5 question sets, which focus on Endocrine/Exocrine Pathology and Microbiology. PathMD e-mail distribution list problem

Dear PathMD Subscribers, Unfortunately, the working PathMD e-mail distribution list file became corrupted on the server which the PathMD website runs. To complicate matters, the database backup was then overwritten with the corrupted file, which has resulted in the loss of many of the more recent PathMD subscribers. I have reconstructed approximately 2/3rds of the list from older data. The destroyed file only contained e-mail addresses, and was not the result of any kind of malicious activity. If you have unsubscribed from the PathMD list, I apologize for this e-mail. Please click on the unsubscribe link below, and you will not receive any future e-mails.
